ಇಂದಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಟೀಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಸಶಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯ. ಆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಪರಿಣಿತಿಯಿರಬೇಕು, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ-ಕಾಳಜಿ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಅಥವಾ ಕಡೆಯ ಪಕ್ಷ ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯಾದರೂ ಆಳವಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಆ ಟೀಕೆ, ವಿಮರ್ಶೆಯೇ ಹಾಸ್ಯಾಸ್ಪದವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ಮಧುಚಂದ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ 'ವಾಸ್ಕೋಡಿಗಾಮ' ಸಿನೆಮಾದ್ದು ಕೂಡ ಇದೇ ಅವಸ್ಥೆ! - ಗುರುಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ
