ಕೊಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿಸುವ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರು '8ಎಂಎಂ'. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಹರಿಕೃಷ್ಣ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಸರಣಿಯನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಣವೇ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಎನ್ನುವ ಉತ್ತರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಜಗ್ಗೇಶ್ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗನ್ನಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಎಂಟು ಜನರ ಸಂಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗನ್ನು ಕದ್ದವನು, ಸರಣಿ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರ, ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತೆ ಇವರ ಸುತ್ತ ಕತೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ - ಆರ್.ಕೇಶವಮೂರ್ತಿ

An incorruptible police sub inspector loses his gun in a bus. He is given 24 hours by his superior officer to find it. The gun however changes many hand and lands up with a gang that commits a bank heist. The gun is used in murders one after the other and the cop finds himself in an ever-growing whirlpool of trouble. Another senior officer teams up with him to investigate. The story takes a surprising turn when Jaggesh is introduced nearly an hour into the film. - Shyam Prasad S

While the film remains realistic in its treatment throughout, the two romantic duets and a commercialised fight sequence seem a little unnecessary. But, these seem minor faults in a tale that is novel and has a unique factor compared to the other crime thrillers being doled out in the industry. Vasishta N Simha is restrained in his performance and does a commendable job. Jaggesh as the conniving Murthy is a treat in his new avatar - Sunayana Suresh
