ಭೂತ, ಆತ್ಮಗಳ ಕಥೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಈಗಿನ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ. ಆದರೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನೊಬ್ಬ ಇಂತಹ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ತರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಮೀರದೆ ಒಂದು ಸಹಜ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪವನ್ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ 'ನಟ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ' ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಕಥೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಂತಹ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ನಟನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಕಥೆಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಾದಿಡ್ಡಿ ಮಸಾಲೆ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಹದಮಿಶ್ರಣದ ಚೌಚೌ ಬಾತ್ ಉಣಬಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಒಡೆಯರ್ - ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಹನೀಫ್
