Stamp of Disapproval

Tara and Devaraj are impressive in their performances but both seem ill-fit for the roles. They just don't look like middle-aged villagers. The rest of the cast is a total misfit. Some of them cannot match their acting with the dialogue delivery while the rest cannot stop overacting. Hebbet Ramakka is a poor showcase of Sandalwood's filmmaking abilities. The best thing about the film is the dialogues. Getting a litterateur, SG Siddaramaiah, to write dialogues delivers the results. The fake village accent that is common in films is thankfully missing.
